Chris Page grew up on New Providence Island in the Bahamas in a boating-centric community. He grew up around small boats and honed his sailing skills on an AMF Sunfish. He says of sailing the Sunfish, “Sailing it was fun, but we mostly used it to get to good fishing spots!”

Chris attended Lafayette College in Pennsylvania where he majored in Economics, then spent a short time at a risk arbitrage trading desk in NYC before he moved to Miami to obtain his MBA from the University of Miami. Chris stayed in Miami after graduation and worked in corporate finance at a publicly traded company for ten years.

Chris and his family spent summers in Stonington, Maine, where they restored a coastal cottage. Eventually, Chris and his wife decided to make a move to Maine year-round. They now live in Blue Hill with their two children.

As luck would have it, Chris ran into Eric and Brian at a party and found out Brooklin Boat Yard was in need of a CFO. Chris says it was important to him to do something impactful, and he knew he could be an asset to a small business like BBY.

When asked about the culture at BBY, Chris answers, “It’s totally unique and so refreshing compared to the corporate world!”
