Aurora 1992

Aurora

Aurora, built in 1992, is a racing machine that has competed in Transats, Fastnets, Bermuda races and a Round-The-World race and taken home trophies for more than three decades. Her hull is cold-molded, her decks are S-glass with foam core, and her spar is carbon. For ERR and similar classic races, she’s classified as a “Spirit of Tradition” boat (though some purists have a hard time spotting the tradition in her). Aurora entered the 2016 Eggemoggin Reach Regatta and placed 2nd overall against a fleet of 100 boats that year, with 1st & 3rd places being awarded to Brooklin Boat Yard-built boats Isobel and Dreadnought.
