When a boat comes to us for refitting and/or restoration, we equally consider the history and the future of the boat along with the client’s needs. Will they be day sailing or living aboard? Will they be racing? Is sustainability important? We ask all the questions to ensure a thorough job is done.

After we’ve assessed the needs of both client and boat, we create a plan that will deliver the job on time and within budget, a standard we work hard to meet everyday.

Kairos

Kairos is a boat with a strong family legacy; she required a creative fix after we discovered her hull was badly rotted. Our team came up with an innovative solution: let’s make a 3D model of the hull then create a fiberglass “shoe.” Once that was done, we replanked to the curve. The solution saved hundreds of hours and time; we delivered her to her family on time and within budget.
Restive

Since Restive is used for both living aboard and racing, we provide a variety of refitting services every year to get her ready for the season. We recently increased her capability and flexibility by converting to solar power, too.
Mischief

Mischief is another boat that’s rich in family history. After the owner’s passing, we rebuilt the boat and placed his ashes in the framework.
Aphrodite

Aphrodite has a long history tied to its name. She started as a commuter boat, provided service in WWII, and was owned by the Whitneys. When it came time to restore her back to her original glory, she was trucked to Maine from Florida. We performed a total restoration, and she’s at home today in Watch Hill.
Impala

After lots of cruising and several Trans-Atlantic trips, Impala came back to us for her second major refitting. She underwent a complete deck and cabin top restoration, systems and electrical upgrading, and hull restoration.
Enticer

Enticer is the definition of a historical restoration. She came to us via the Pennsylvania Maritime Museum after which we rebuilt the hull, restored interiors, the teak deck and the galley. She’s now in Newport working as a charter boat.
