From brand new designs to major refits, here’s a peek at some of our current projects in the shop.
Rob McAlpine’s boat, Restive, is a good example of Brooklin Boat Yard’s world-class service. Rob says, “I don’t have the option of self-maintenance because I live in Texas.” Since Rob can't visit his boat year-round, he entrusts its care and maintenance to the service crew at Brooklin Boat Yard.
Rob stresses, “I’ve never seen service that approaches what Brooklin Boat Yard does.”
We recently got Restive summer-ready for Rob and his wife’s annual Northeast coastal trip (they spend over a month on their boat every summer). Rob tells a story of having a last-minute maintenance need caught in Southwest Harbor. “Rugge was in a truck and to me in an hour,” says Rob, “We had her fixed and ready, then we had a drink while the sun set.”
